| Apple’s $750 Million Power Move: Formula 1 Races to Stream Exclusively on Apple TV |
Apple is officially taking the driver’s seat in Formula 1 broadcasting. The tech giant has struck a massive five-year deal worth $750 million with Formula 1, making Apple TV the exclusive U.S. home for all races, qualifying rounds, practice sessions, and sprint events starting in 2026.
This marks the end of F1’s long-running partnership with ESPN, as Apple steps in with a high-tech spin. Fans with an Apple TV+ subscription will get F1 TV Premium access for free, including advanced features like multiple camera angles, live onboard footage, and deeper data insights.
Apple is also weaving Formula 1 content into its ecosystem — with Apple Sports, Maps, and Music integration designed to make the experience more interactive and immersive.
Reaction to the deal has been mixed. American F1 teams like Haas and Cadillac praised the move, calling it a big step toward making the sport more accessible to U.S. audiences. But some fans aren’t as thrilled — they worry the streaming-only setup might leave out viewers who don’t have Apple TV+.
Either way, it’s clear: Apple just made one of its boldest moves yet into live sports — and the race for fans’ screens is officially on.
