A shocking encounter in Upper Dir, KP, turned deadly when villagers shot a leopard that wandered out of the forest and into the Jeelad Sami Khurd area of Union Council Chapar in Wari tehsil, Express News reported.

The wild cat unexpectedly left the nearby forest and entered the settlement, causing panic among residents. Witnesses say people fired at the leopard immediately, and tragically, the animal died on the spot.
