The 19-second clip features Trump smiling from the cockpit while a jet releases the sludge over crowds representing the nationwide No Kings Day demonstrations.
The protests, which took place on October 18 across all 50 states, saw tens of thousands of participants rallying against Trump’s immigration stance, environmental rollbacks, and use of executive power amid the ongoing government shutdown.
Critics slammed the video as childish and inappropriate, accusing Trump of mocking peaceful demonstrators. Supporters, however, found it humorous and praised his use of AI for “creative expression.”
The video reportedly uses old footage from a 2017 Trump rally, re-edited with AI effects. While it quickly went viral on social media, it also reignited debate over political deepfakes and the growing use of artificial intelligence in U.S. politics.
