Shehbaz Sharif Heads to Saudi Arabia for High-Stakes Talks and Major Global Investment Summit

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is all set to embark on a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia from October 27 to 29, at the invitation of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

The Prime Minister will lead a high-level delegation to attend the 9th Future Investment Initiative (FII9) — one of the world’s most influential business and investment summits. Joining him will be Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar along with several senior cabinet members.

During his stay, Shehbaz Sharif is expected to hold important meetings with Saudi leadership to boost cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and manpower development. The talks will also touch on regional and global issues of mutual concern.

On the sidelines of FII9, the Prime Minister will engage with leaders from other nations and heads of international organisations, showcasing Pakistan’s investment potential and commitment to sustainable growth under the theme “Think, Exchange, and Act.”

The FII9 summit will bring together world leaders, investors, and innovators under the banner “The Key to Prosperity: Unlocking New Frontiers of Growth.” Discussions will revolve around innovation, sustainability, economic inclusion, and shifting global dynamics.

This visit highlights Pakistan’s growing focus on economic diplomacy and its determination to forge stronger global partnerships in technology, investment, and sustainable development.
